Okay so. We have been in stealth mode for a while now.
No announcements. No teasers. No "something big is coming" posts that never actually deliver. We hate that. We have been burned by that as consumers ourselves and we refuse to do it to you.
So we waited. We built. We tested. We broke things and fixed them. And now - finally - we are ready to ship.
What We Have Actually Been Doing (BTS unlocked)
The Amaani Bakhoor Gold and Platinum Collections are real. Stock is on its way. And ngl, this one has been a whole journey.
Amaani has been in the lab for months on this. Ten bakhoor blends - each one named in Arabic, each one built around a specific feeling or meaning. That is not the kind of thing you rush. There were rounds of testing, sourcing decisions, packaging iterations - the kind of behind the scenes work that never makes it to the grid but makes ALL the difference when the product lands in your hands.
On the Sakinah side we have been running our own parallel build - photoshoots to plan, the website to rebuild, copy to write and rewrite (and rewrite again). There were definitely moments where the group chat was giving "is this actually going to work" energy. Spoiler: it worked.
Why Amaani Bakhoor Though?
Real talk - there is a lot of bakhoor out there. A LOT. So why this?
Because Amaani actually thought about it. Each blend in the Gold and Platinum Collections is built around a single Arabic word - a concept, a vibe, a whole feeling compressed into a fragrance. Haneen (longing). Miraj (ascension). Malaki (royal). These are not random names slapped on a bottle. They mean something.
And that hits different when you burn it.

We need to talk about V2. Because V1 taught us a lot. Mostly about what we should have done better from the start.
Okay real honest founder talk incoming. There were things about V1 that genuinely used to bother me. Like - every time I saw someone unbox it and the window display had already slid out before they even opened it properly, I wanted to call the supplier immediately. That loose packaging was not it. It did not match the product inside and it did not match the experience we wanted people to have. That bugged me more than I can explain.
So for V2 we fixed it. Properly. The packaging is a completely different level - higher quality, tighter finish, beautiful presentation. It makes a real gift. The kind you actually want to receive, not just give. We did not cut corners on it.
The second thing - and this one I only realised AFTER selling V1 and seeing the feedback - was that people were unboxing this beautiful set and then realising they still had to go buy charcoal separately. That broke the whole experience. You do not buy a coffee machine and then find out the capsules are sold separately. So we fixed that too. V2 comes with charcoal included. It is a complete set now. Everything you need, in one box.
And then there is the bakhoor itself. V1 came with 4 samples - Amaani Saudi Oud, Moroccan Oud, Qatari Oud, and Emirati Oud. Great scents. But V2 comes with 6 samples - 3 from the Amaani Gold Collection and 3 from the Platinum Collection. So you are literally getting a curated intro to the entire new range in one set. Chef's kiss.
Is V2 perfect? Nope. We will be honest about that. There are still things we want to improve in V3. But it is a massive step up from where we started and we are genuinely proud of it. Affordable. Premium. Actually complete. That was the brief and we think we nailed it.
